These are a LS3 drop-in piston. they work with standard rods, no need for balancing.

AS used in the GM Performance CT525

These are to suit STD Bore 4.065" 

Includes premium Mahle Performance low drag ring set (1.0,1.0,2.0mm file fit)

2618 Alloy has a low silicon content. 2618 alloy has a greater expansion rate but is higher strength and more resistant to harsh conditions. Because of the greater clearance required 2618 pistons can be noisy on start up but will go away when operating temperature is reached

     4032 Alloy has a higher silicon content. Still a great forged piston for power applications but less forgiving to detonation. Because of the lower expansion rate you generally run a tighter clearances which generally makes for a quieter engine. Great for street performance engines and owners who are looking for OE quiet operation and still able to handle power add-ons.
