Here at Malex Motorsports we are proud to stock and endorse Mahle Motorsport Powerpak pistons. Made in Morristown Tennessee, Mahle Powerpak pistons have deep ties to the OE market stretching back to the 1920s. Mahle has put this its expertise to use, creating a great value aftermarket performance piston for a range of applications. You will find Mahle pistons in the top tier of racing around the world including NASCAR, NHRA and F1.  

   Unmatched yet affordable Mahle Powerpak pistons offer a  range of specifications and options. We stock 4032 and 2618 forged aluminium options with Immersion Phosphate, GRAFAL skirt coating, hard anodized ring grooves and low drag piston rings.

      2618 Alloy has a low silicon content. 2618 alloy has a greater expansion rate but is higher strength and more resistant to harsh conditions. Because of the greater clearance required 2618 pistons can be noisy on start up. 

     4032 Alloy has a higher silicon content. Still a great forged piston for power applications but less forgiving to detonation. Because of the lower expansion rate you generally run a tighter clearances which generally makes for a quieter engine. Great for street performance engines and owners who are looking for OE quiet operation and still able to handle power add-ons.
