Developed and ground in-house using state of the art BTR designed lobes, the new LS1 Stage 4 V2 is the largest offering in our naturally aspirated LS1/LS2/LS6 lineup. The NEW Stage 4 cam has been refined to offer even more power and torque than our previous Stage 4 cam , all while delivering the reliability and value you've come to expect from BTR. This camshaft has a very aggressive idle and lets others know you're packing something serious under the hood of your daily driver or weekend warrior.

The Stage 4 sacrifices some low rpm torque comparted to our other offerings but shines in the horsepower department up in the higher rpm range. It is possible to see over 500whp with proper supporting mods, including a quality set of cylinder heads, high flowing intake and throttle body, headers, and good flowing exhaust system.

ANY cylinder head milling with the use of factory pistons requires you to fly cut the valve pockets and check piston to valve clearance!

In automatic cars, a higher RPM torque converter is a requirement to help  unlock this camshaft's full potential.

These new BTR lobe designs were Spintron , and Engine Dyno tested to achieve the highest overall power curve while also maintaining strict valvetrain stability and durability standards.

Requires the use of our .660" Lift Platinum spring kit with titanium retainers and hardened pushrods.
