Description

TR6060 Transmission Conversion Shifter Base Set.

This the basic kit that can be used to adapt the original VE or VF V8 manual shifter to suit VT, VX , VY, VZ and VU Commodore. The kit is easy to install utilising the original mounting points for the T56 or auto selector/shifter. Compatible with VT- VZ shifter surround and boot. Fitment does not require any modification of the transmission.

Designed to be used when fitting either a VE T56 or TR6060 to a VT - VZ Commodore.

The base set comprises of the shifter housing and base plate only and is intended to be used with a VE or VF gear stick, bushes and linkage (not included).

If a stick assembly is required see the full kit which includes the Malex Motorsports stick assembly, boot retainer and billet knob.

Note: VE pivot bush must be removed from the stick and refitted upside down.

The kit is constructed from 6061 aircraft grade billet aluminium and is made right here in Sydney.

Shifter plate vt-vz for tr6060 base kit

Highly recommend this product. Great quality, I can tell as the thread that are tapped into the aluminium aren’t burred like most aluminium products are. The adjustability in the plate is perfect. The coupling that holds the shifter is almost spot on. The ID is perfectly sized but the height is a tad too low. However upon shaving down the plastic ribbed section on the stock shifter it then allowed the shifter to flow smoothly without an excess of friction. Honestly it’s probably better being to short then too tall as it’s easier to shave the plastic then to have too much slop in the shifter. Shipping was incredibly quick also. Very happy customer
