This high quality adapter was designed and manufactured in Australia and incorporates a shortened designed to reduce load. CNC machined Aluminium6061-T6. The adapter is intended for use in transmission conversions where a 1350 Ford universal joint and slip yoke are required allowing for the use of an unmodified transmission in retro conversions.The adapter is also designed to accept an optional pulse ring (last 3 pictures) that when used in conjunction with the Malex Motorsports shifter kit will provide a speed signal for VE T56 transmissions. Adaptor comes as pictured in the first 3 pictures the adapter with pulse ring will be available in a separate listing.Malex Motorsports retrofit shifter.This shifter kit has been designed and engineered in Australia as a simplified shifting mechanism for VE/VF TR 6060 or VE T 56 transmissions.This kit has been used in LH/LX Torana, H series Holdens, Trans Ams, Valiant Charger, VB VC VH VK Commodore, Camaros.This shifter addresses a number of problems found when using this transmission in retro conversions. There is no need to modify the transmission to replace the original VE remote shifter. Mounting the new shifter is easy to using the included clamp and 2 bolts. The shifter can easily be changed between its 2 position slots at 640 mm and 678 mm rearward from bell housing face.The shifter pivot bush housing has been designed to accept the original VE shift lever enabling the use of either the factory lever or the lever supplied in the Malex Motorsports kit.The mounting plate also has provision to mount a speed sensor which will read from a reluctor wheel mounted on a custom Malex Motorsport tail shaft flange which is available with and without the pulse ring in our other listings. The shifter base plate can be trimmed if the sensor is not required. This listing is for the shifter kit only and does not include the tail shaft flange adaptor which is pictured for cross promotional purposes.The kit is constructed from 6061 aircraft grade billet aluminium and laser cut 304 stainless plate and hardware. The stick itself is high tensile nickel coated steel with a nylon bush. All aluminium components are black anodised. All shifter components are manufactured locally in Sydney to ensure quality.
