The heater valve and heater hose are integral components in a vehicle’s engine cooling system. Their combined performance impacts on the engine’s ability to regulate the heat inside the cabin of a vehicle, but they can also cause engine damage should they leak or not function properly.

For this reason, it is good service practice to replace the heater valve and heater hose at the same time.
