Mechanics Mate is the vision of Peter Milekovic, owner of Custom Made Engineering. We have been making products for our customers for over 13 years, in our CNC machine shop in Sydney, Australia. We love what we do, and we enjoy a challenge.The idea for our products came from a personal need of trying to remove the harmonic balancer from our own LS1 engine. The first time we borrowed a puller from a friend, who has been specialising in these engines since they first came to Australia. This puller was awkward to use, it did the job, but it wasn’t easy. So the next time we needed to remove another balancer, it was time to come up with something easier. This then led to the birth of the quick change hydraulic puller. Now I can remove a balancer in seconds, less than 10 seconds actually.
