Because of the greater clearance required 2618 pistons can be noisy on start up but will go away when operating temperature is reached\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003cstrong\u003e    4032 Alloy \u003c\/strong\u003ehas a higher silicon content. Still a great forged piston for power applications but less forgiving to detonation. Because of the lower expansion rate you generally run a tighter clearances which generally makes for a quieter engine.
